Help us build a wheelchair accessible bathroom for disabled children receiving free equine assisted activities
In mid-June, Morgan and Montgomery will be volunteering with us at The Monkey Farm in Playa Ocotal, Costa Rica. The Monkey Farm is run by volunteers from all over the world who come to live and learn on the farm. We are working to create the World’s first wildlife rescue center that is completely self-sufficient and sustainable. In addition to helping animals, The Monkey Farm is also involved in many community service activities. We have been feeding the homeless every Tuesday evening for over three years. We are also on our third year teaching English for Free to adults every Monday and Wednesday evening. The Monkey Farm is just beginning to offer FREE equine assisted activities for disabled children as yet another one of our many community services.
We urgently need to build a wheelchair accessible bathroom for the disabled children that are taking part in their Free equine activities program. A local architect has drawn up the simple plans, and a local men’s church group has volunteered to do the labor, we just need to buy the materials.
Please help us to help these disabled children in any way that you can. All donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!
