Teaching English to Adults in Playas del Coco

Every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00, Vicki Conley and the volunteers of The Monkey Farm in Costa Rica are volunteering to teach English, mostly to adults.  The children of Costa Rica now are learning English in school, but the adults were not taught English when they were young.  They are realizing that if you want work in Playas del Coco, you need to speak English.

There are classes for every level of English, so many teachers are required. Vicki Conley always has a class of her own, and the volunteers either assist her in her class, or if they stay longer, they can be assigned their own class if they wish. The students love meeting The Monkey Farm volunteers from all over the world.
